Sri Lanka actively engages in the global legal framework by being a party to multiple international treaties. As a member of the Rome Act of the Berne Convention, Sri Lanka recognizes the importance of protecting intellectual property rights. Additionally, the country has committed to Articles 22-38 of the Paris Act of the Berne Convention, further solidifying its dedication to copyright protection. Moreover, Sri Lanka is a signatory to the Universal Copyright Convention, demonstrating its commitment to upholding copyright standards on an international scale.
